Members

In brief, SNIO comprises the following membership categories:

1. Members with voting rights
2. Members without voting rights

Members with voting rights (one vote per member) are institutions (hospitals, clinics, centers, institutes, practices, etc.), or their legally responsible bodies, that fulfill the following conditions:

1. Medical Oncology: SAKK Center or certified Swiss Cancer Network Center or other certified tumor center (KLS Brustzentrum, DKG-certified organ center or cancer center, etc.).
2. Integrative Medicine: at least 2x/month clinical integrative oncology consultation and/or consults within the own institution or hospital, by a physician with FMH title and with a certificate of competence recognized by the SIWF in one of the disciplines of integrative medicine (acupuncture/TCM, anthroposophy, homeopathy, medical hypnosis, phytotherapy) or with a diploma in mind-body approaches.

The following are non-voting members:

1. Institutions, or rather their legally authorized representatives, that do not fulfill the criteria for voting membership
2. Sponsors (institutions, companies)
3. Individual members
